  • Are tax-deductible to the donor.
  • Donor may be able to take advantage of credit card award programs.

Gifts of Appreciated Stock

  • Can provide a more substantial gift.
  • Donor receives a charitable income tax deduction for full value of the stock on the date the gift is received at School.
  • No capital gains taxes on appreciated value of the stock.
  • Stock can delivered to the school or transferred electronically.

Corporate Matching Gifts

  • Many corporations will match employees' gifts or their spouses' gifts.
  • May double the amount of your gift.
  • The donor is credited for the full amount of the gift (including the corporate match).
