Soccer's Guest Stars!

The soccer season got off to an exciting start this fall with two former professional soccer players leading the team’s first training session! Jan Washausen made his debut playing professional soccer in Germany in 2007, and since 2022 has been a part of the American amateur club New York International FC. Gary Philpott, a former Cork City FC Goalkeeper, has over 25 years of youth and senior playing experience, including over 5 years of club and individual soccer coaching. Coach Jake describes, “It was wonderful to watch Jan and Gary work with our team. They brought professionalism, class, and infectious humor to the proceedings, three things we hope carry over into the season. They made a first afternoon full of smiles extra special.”
