Stevenson's Computer Science Symposium

Stevenson hosted our first Symposium on Computer Science and Student Mental Health. The Symposium took place under the direction of Adam van Auken, Director of Technology. Four guest speakers gave presentations on various topics about the interplay between student mental health and computer science. Students also gave presentations on technological solutions they have developed to ameliorate various student mental health issues. Symposium judges scored each presentation based on a rubric, and were proud to name one student as the winner. They will receive mentoring from industry experts to discuss how their idea could be developed towards a working solution.
